Well we had a bit of a rough start to the day when the house phone rang at 6:00 am (Don't forget its a holiday today too). Im over my ranting and raving about that so I'll just sum it up and say I was not a happy camper, considering baby boy kept me awake kicking up a storm along with bathroom trips and heartburn! When 6:00 am rolled around it was a bit too early for a wake up call in my books.
After my earlier than planned wake up, I realized I must have developed something over night, a cold or allergies, because my throat was raw and nose was running! Yikes, how many more times can I be sick this year! At least the only items on my agenda for the day were a massage and a walk with the dog. My massage was great despite my faucet of a nose so when I got home Kyla brought over Koda and we took her and Chevy for a much needed walk. Poor girl is probably going stir crazy in that garage, she needs a fence like I need sleep today! Anyway it was nice to spend time with Kyla this afternoon in a completely non-work related context. I'm so glad she is finally done school, you can just see the difference in her. The freedom must be nice after five long years. Anyway by the end of our walk I was done for, and decided it was going to have to be a soup and disney movie in bed day! I'm really hoping I feel alot better by tomorrow as I have my little dancers all day! Cross your fingers.

25 Weeks
Well its been a few weeks so I guess its time to update. Things change so much from week to week I feel like I could write a novel every time I come to update! I had festival with my little dancers a few weeks ago and they did great! I think I was more nervous for them than they were, but all in all it was a great start to competition season. I can't even believe I have seven weeks of teaching left, it is going to fly by. Part of my isn't too upset, as getting on down on the floor and back up again with the preschool dancers is getting harder each week, but regardless I will really miss all of my dancers once I have to say goodbye.
Aside from dance I've been trying to take care of my body, working out, going to classes, walking the dogs. Feeling very very tired this week. It is the first time I have felt as gross as I did since the first trimester. I'm keeping the heartburn a little more under control which is good, but I am quickly learning if it's not one thing its another. It seems like my due date is coming so fast, I'm getting so excited to meet our little man. I won't lie though, it is now occurring to me that he will have to come out... a daunting feeling for sure but I know it will be a small milestone for such a wonderful gift!
So many things to look forward to in the next few months! Chantelle is hard at work planning my baby shower and from the looks of it she is doing an amazing job! I love that she loves to plan things as much as I do! We also have our maternity photo's booked, which I am so excited for! I have picked out a spot for them in the house already (so I guess I'm hoping they turn out alright haha). Our second wedding anniversary is coming up soon as well and I have a great little surprise planned for Sandy!
I think that about covers it for now, I am sure that I will have so much to update that it wont take me long to return! Something cute I found to remind you, it can always be worse than how bad you think you have it. "Life is tough enough without having someone kick you from the inside". ~Rita Rudner

Kick Kick Kick
Well we had a great and much needed vacation in Arizona! Sandy's parents place is amazing. Newly renovated, we spent alot of time shopping and decorating, just a few of my favorite things! It was nice to spend 10 days relaxed and unscheduled. I did alot of sun tanning and laying around the pool, just what I needed at 21 weeks pregnant. Now its back to reality, dance competitions, costumes, birthdays and doctors appointments. All of which are coming together nicely, including my growth. Some days are much easier to embrace than others, today was one of those, "please don't show me the number on the scale" days. But, as my husband so graciously reminded me its a blessing to be pregnant and that is what I need to remember most on days that I feel more like a beluga whale than a miracle mommy. Tomorrow is a new day and I look forward to whatever little surprises baby hands me, including all the kicks, heartburn and urgent trips to the bathroom. Only 17 weeks left, I can't wait to meet our little boy.
Oh and of course, Happy 3rd Birthday to my little Benson!
